I am a traveler from the beautiful countryside, who loves to enjoy comfortable accommodations with a cozy ambiance and delicious homecooked meals. the comfortable bedrooms with lovely ensuite and attention to every detail, from coffee to bathrobes, made me feel right at home. the evening menu, offering traditional English food, was beautifully prepared and the breakfast was simply awesome. the location overlooking the market square was perfect, with a stunning view across the town and moor beyond. the room was clean, spacious, and surprisingly quiet, despite being located above the main bar. the full English breakfast was excellent and the bar offered great value. Overall, my stay at this lovely old pub was fantastic and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a charming and cozy retreat.
